What Is GP-Talk

GP-Talk is an e-mail community of Generation Progress members. Through the GP-Talk mailing list, we share articles, discuss ideas, and refine our beliefs.

GP-Talk also serves as a convenient tool for disseminating breaking news. Many participants confess to relying on GP-Talk for news that they would otherwise have missed.

Each participant is able to share news and opinions simply by sending an e-mail to the GP-Talk group. The conversation that follows in real-time allows members to engage one another in interesting, intelligent discussion.

Why We Created It

As the pulse of the organization and an outlet for political conversation, GP-Talk directly helps us achieve our mission of bringing together the young and civic-minded. Civic engagement isn’t only about voting; it’s also about staying current with the news and having thoughtful conversations that expose us to different points of view.
